Jimmy Cockerton started his career early and never stopped reinventing himself. He has worked across counter-terrorism, telecoms, public sector transformation and corporate innovation, eventually landing at Microsoft where he won the Bill Gates Founder’s Award and became Head of Impact. His work helped Microsoft secure major UK government partnerships while pushing sustainability and purpose into the mainstream. In 2021 he left the corporate world to build something of his own. His first company, NuShore Capital, advised startups and investment teams and helped a national charity design its own impact investing fund. He then founded Impact Advantage, an AI company focused on measuring the real value businesses create for people and the planet.

Jimmy now splits his time between investing, mentoring founders and running an investment syndicate. As a husband, dad, author and speaker, he brings a practical, no-drama view on entrepreneurship and impact.
